Learn About Me
I am National Board Certified (NCCAOM) in acupuncture, Chinese herbology, and Oriental medicine. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Ball State University. I specialize in the prevention of pain and sports injuries.
Before continuing my education in acupuncture and oriental medicine, I was a personal trainer working with athletes from 8 to 39 years in age specializing in their specific sport. In 2008, I was the acupuncturist aboard the Carnival Freedom cruise ship.
I grew up in Indiana playing basketball, running track and cross country. I found my way to Austin, Texas in 2003 and feel that it is a perfect fit with all the activities it has to offer. I am regularly involved in city riding and many of the runs and triathlons Austin offers on the weekends. Throughout the week you can find me working out flipping tires with some college rugby and soccer players at Austin High School.
To create good health, great sex, and longevity, I believe one must move every joint in every direction everyday. Continue to play, never lose momentum, and realize that consistency adds up.
I have found that acupuncture along with exercise and nutrition plays a major role in mental and physical health.
